Forget the Travelodge...

I stayed in the South Lodge hotel several weeks ago and had a very pleasent experience. The staff are very nice, friedly and informed and the bar area is very well decorated, with decent prices for drinks and food. They also have a wireless connection which I found invaluable. The rooms are simple but clean and tidy as you would expect. A very good small hotel.
