  La tasca is a chain of restaurants in the style of spanish tapas bars and the decor and music do give you a small taste of spain. The food on offer is not as good as the authentic spanish tapas bars can offer you but that is to be expected. The menu is good, with a selection of good set meal deals for 2 to share. The chorizo and meatballs are tasty as are the patatas bravas, or good old potato in tomato sauce to you and I. The sangria is a good bargain buy as the drinks can be picey and the spanish beer is nice. The staff are helpful and over all the atmosphere is good. They take tesco deals vouchers which makes it even better.

• Spanish Tapas Restaurant

  In Chelmsford Town Centre, this Tapas chain offers reasonably priced tapas that tastes great. What makes the food taste even better is that they are accepting Tesco Clubcard deals as payment for food! The menu offers a good selection of meat, fish and vegetable tapas dishes, about 4-5 per person should be plenty. They also serve a variety of paellas which I am yet to try as the tapas is so good!. The service is fairly good, although sometimes you can be waiting a while for the final bill. The drinks are a little more pricey than the food, however if you can overlook this then do try the sangria as it really gives you that holiday feeling! Something a bit different at alright prices.
