• Best advice with no hard sell for a newbie

  Mortgage Business summed up: professional, courteous, dedicated, great ability to communicate facts and figures to first time buyers, accessible to visit, phone or email and very on the ball with finanical information. Last year I was a first time buyer and one of the few lucky enough to have the right deposit at the right time to buy. However I had no clue about anything to do with mortgages and buying a property. I just new I didnt want to bite off more than I could chew in this turbulent time. After feeling uncomfortable and unhappy with an advisor that was apparently independant but linked to an Estate agent and kept pushing me towards higher and higher priced properties, I researched and found this company. I stated my thoughts and needs, what my financial boundries were and what kind of morgage and repayments I would be comfortable with and guess what, they listened and actually worked to them! I found them supportive and reasuring; they offered great advice and were able to explain clearly to me, allowing me to understand how it all works, how things would affect me and what the bottom line would be. They kept me in budget, they didnt push me towards a bigger mortgage with bland assurances. They advised me on things I hand not even considered. They offered relevant advice, including advice on insurance and other financial matters and didnt push. Which makes a very nice change from being told that you must have this and must have that. I really did feel that they were interesed in doing what was best for me and I have a lovely little flat that I can still afford to keep and have a social life too! I am more than happy to recomend Mortgage Business for true independent financial advice.
