  lisas sandwich bar is on duke street in chelmsford. it is a local sandwich bar and offers a good selection of freshly made food to your requirements. if you want a cheese, ham, mayo, pickle, thick sliced sarny then this is the place to get one. The prices are average for what you get and I have tried one or two different combinations of filling, all have been very good and also nice and fresh too. The sandwich bar can be busy at peak times and as they are made to order then you may have to wait a short while to get the finished product, but it will be worth it.

• Great little sandwich bar

  This is not just your average sandwich shop, all the sandwiches are made fresh to order, you can pick your bread, thin or thick (and this is THICK), white or brown, then the best bit is the filling, there is your normal cooked meats, egg, cheese and the rest, but the special fillings are amazing for example some of my favourites are minted lamb, and sun dried tomato, mozzarella and olive. The queue is pretty big at lunchtimes and will always be out of the door, however the staff are really efficient and you won't be waiting long. Prices are not too bad either considering the size and the quality of the food.
