Ammonia- bad fish

After an initial bad experience with soggy fish here before, my partner and I stopped for cod and chips after a very long day at work. When we got home and unwrapped our 'meal' we were horrified to discover the strong smell of ammonia coming from the fish. We have since researched this and have found it to be a sign of decomposing fish. AVOID if your health matters to you. Go to Robinson's, always a positive experience.

waste of money

After visiting this fish shop we were not very happy at all. We asked for 2 large cod, and found out when we got home they had given us 2 small cod. Not only this but the batter was soggy and the fish was very wet. Also had a battered sausage which could've passed as a cocktail sausage. lastly we hardly got any chips at all and this is very expensive compared to other fish shops in the area. Better off going to melbourne chip shop about a mile down the road. Much better value, service and most importantly the food is cooked properly!
